About Me, Major Movie Nut

I have always been a movie nut, ever since I slept through classics like Dr. Zhivago and The Sound of Music as a small child. [My parents saved money on babysitters, knowing I'd fall asleep.]

The witch in Wizard of Oz still scares me to this day. [OK, now it's the thought of the chemical-laden green makeup on her face, not the fear she would unleash the flying monkeys on me, but still].

I created this site, just so I could ramble on and on about my favorite movies, and movies I hated, and so-so movies, to anyone who is interested/afflicted similarly. At my house, we don't watch much TV. I watch a movie with my kids most every night, though. Once in a while, if I've saved enough money, we go to the movies, and eat the toxic and delicious popcorn and have the Full Movie Experience.
