I simply wanted everyone to know that I will be offline for a couple of days. I am taking Alesia to Augusta today, for the wedding of my cousin Frann Bennett's daughter Caroline. Alesia has never attended a wedding before. I also look forward to seeing many of my cousins that I don't often get to see, and who haven't met Alesia.
I will stop and see Mom on the way out of town, and we will have a visit. I will get back tomorrow afternoon and will see her then also. We have hired extra private nurses to be with her. They also know where I am and have my cell phone number in case she needs me. So I don't feel too bad about leaving her.
Mom seemed much like her normal self yesterday. She was in clothes, and had been sitting in the chair most of the day. She said she had done a good bit of walking up and down the hall - to rehab, etc.
Alesia is excited about the wedding, I can tell. She got up and into the shower this morning without me telling her, and she is being very chipper and cooperative about the packing.
So I will likely not post again until tomorrow or Monday.
