Mother has been home since Sunday. She is doing pretty well, though it hasn't been smooth sailing. She has had some reactions to meds, like chills and nausea. We don't know why. She is scheduled to see a general practitioner on the 20th, the earliest appointment I could get.
I am trying to cope. It hasn't been easy. Mom still can't totally manage such simple functions on her own as eating, brushing hair, etc. Alesia has been a big help. Bruce was also here for about 24 hours. He had to go home tonight.
Mom is still in pain, but she says it's manageable. The Percocet and Lortab have side effects, so we are trying to keep her just on Tylenol Arthritis strength.
I am off to try and sleep. More later.
