It's Monday, and a rather blah day, as most Mondays are.
Our team at work [the employment law team] had the annual holiday luncheon at The Wyndham. It was a buffet, salad bar, pasta bar, desserts. It was pleasant, I suppose. I got the exact same candleholder all the other paralegals got. I will likely re-gift it. It wasn't personally selected for me so it means nothing. Can you sense I am a little cynical here??!
Alesia and I studied for a test which she didn't take today and won't take tomorrow. The *^%#%^@&
Georgia Studies teacher has the kids sitting around watching Gone With the Wind. It's supposed to teach them about antebellum Georgia. It's a waste of time. I can't believe it. Now the book is wonderful and was well-researched and actually teaches you a lot about Georgia history, but the movie is just pure Hollywood. Maybe some day I can get Alesia to read the book.
Alesia still isn't feeling well. I am putting the antibiotic drops in her eyes, and tonight I gave her an Aleve. She isn't sick, really, but she doesn't feel well. I hope she gets better in time to enjoy Christmas.
