I met with Vally today and approved the final draft of the book. She printed
out one copy for me.Yay! The first copy! Alesia was fascinated watching Vally print it out. Vally doesn't have the equipment to do a big run, but she can print out a few.
The remaining copies should be ready to sell in a few weeks. I ordered 1,000 copies printed up. The printer is in Boston. I sure HOPE it will sell!
Vally is sponsoring a reception for several of the authors of United Writer's Press on December 12. I am going to be one of the authors. It will be at a restaurant in Tucker. Vally wrote an article for the little Tucker magazine about United Writer's Press and I am mentioned in the article.
My friend Maria also has a neighbor who's a freelance writer, and we are sending her a copy. She said she'd write an article or a review about it in advance, maybe generate some BUZZ!
