We’ve had a relaxing day, thank
goodness.
I woke up with a sinus headache, and
it didn’t really go away until just before lunch, so we didn’t try to go to
church.
The kids and I went to Wolf Camera
and got prints made from their cameras. I'm glad they are all ready to take the cameras to
the beach. Some of the shots that got printed out were good. There are a lot of
shots of Coco. Coco is now the most photographed dog in Atlanta, I would bet.
It rained all day long, so Michael’s
T-2 tennis match got postponed until Thursday. I was actually relieved.
We went to lunch at Marlow’s, a
local restaurant that has a good buffet. Mother didn't care for it, but I liked the food. My only quarrell was the expensive drinks - we spent about $12 for 4 drinks, which is ridiculous.
The rest of the day was pretty
quiet. We did some errands. The rain never let up. Great for plants. Lousy for
everything else.
While Mother napped this afternoon,
I made Mike spend some time alone in his room. He hates being alone. I told him
he has to get comfortable with that, or it’s really going to cause problems. I
know it’s because his birthmom left him alone so much when he was small. So he
has to stay in his room sometimes while Granny naps and I am upstairs, but he
has plenty of toys and books in there. He was only alone about 45 minutes.
We made some photos and they are below. The guy at Wolf Camera fixed my camera. Yay!
This is Mike in front of the bathroom door where I measure him. He is pointing to the first measurement I made, 2 years ago when he came here. Look at the difference!
This was made in front of my main garden. I wanted to photograph the melon patch and the new raised garden, but it was too rainy.
I don't know what they were doing here, but it's funny.
