Yesterday was a day of thunderstorms, off and on. I took the kids up to a small water park in Lawrenceville, which is about 30 minutes north of here, and they had a lot of fun - for 1.5 hours. Then it started thundering and we had to leave because they closed. My friend Melissa is planning to go back today with her kids and my kids, and I am praying the rain has moved out, so they can stay longer.
We ended the day at our neighborhood pool and had a great time. I even swam a few laps. There was nobody there but us. Electricity was out in the neighborhood, but the lifeguard let us swim since there were only the 4 kids and me - my two plus friends.
My internet connection is messed up. Grr.... I will blog more later.

Got the internet back, praise God!
Melissa has the kids at the water park again today, so I can catch up with myself a little. Had a job interview this morning that went well, I think. Sounds like a fun job and I hope I get it.
