When I went to Russia on one of my adoption trips, the Russian baggage handlers ripped apart one of my suitcases. I was really ticked because it was filled with presents for the kids at the orphanage. It was a soft-sided suitcase, a cheapie, but still. Russian baggage handlers are notorious for mishandling luggage. When I was there, a lot of airlines wouldn't let you check bags until they had been completely encased in plastic wrap, sold in the airport for about $5 per suitcase. It was a racket.
Anyway, Mother sent me this video and I thought it was very funny. Good to know I'm not the only one with airline tales of woe [cough, cough].
