[Note: I originally tried to post this about 1 p.m. but the computer went wonky]
Michael is disgusted with me. I just told him I'm exhausted.
"What do you mean exhausted?! You just woke up!" he exclaimed.
"Uh, no, I've been up since 9. I made breakfast, cleaned up the kitchen, got a shower, stripped the sheets off my bed, sent some emails," I replied.
When you're sick, everything is tiring. I had to rest for an hour after breakfast. I had to rest after the shower, and rest after cleaning up. Now I am resting from stripping the bed and telling Michael to put away his clean clothes and straighten his room.
Being a Mom is tiring. Being a Mom when you're sick is just plain exhausting.
Michael is growing again. He grew 1/4 inch in 3 weeks. He is eating everything in sight. Last night he ate two big platesfulls of chicken and noodles [which I cooked, which was exhausting] and then we watched Daddy Day Care. Not a great movie, but cute. Michael ate a bowl of ice cream while we watched.
Right before bed, Michael said "I'm HUNGRY!"
I gave him half a meatball sub leftover from lunch yesterday.
This morning he ate 4 cinnamon rolls, and an hour later made himself a huge turkey sandwich.
Alesia is ensconced on the sofa downstairs watching HGTV. She is feeling some better. I got her to drink water last night by telling her if she didn't get some more fluids in her body she would not start feeling better, and thus wouldn't be able to see Boyfriend. She is still drinking water, but I have vetoed Boyfriend for today. I explained that getting him sick would not make him a happy camper.
Changing gears for a moment, we are Dog People. My current Facebook profile photo is Bill the Cat, just because it's funny, but we are truly dog people. Below, my dad and two of our dogs; well, one may be my brother's dog, not sure on that. Below it is a cool photo I discovered not long ago of my uncle Lewis and a dog. He didn't like to admit it, but he liked dogs. As you can see, Lewis is very tall. I didn't get those genes. I got the short fat genes. Not that I'm bitter.
