It has not been a noteworthy day, except in some couple of distressing ways.Seems like a bunch of folks I care about are facing some serious issues in their lives.
I heard from an old friend that her dad is facing very serious surgery this week, and that saddened me. Please pray for her dad - he is in his 80's.I have always adored him - one of the sweetest, funniest guys around.
I also know of three other friends of my mother who are facing serious health issues right now. Please include them in your prayers.
As Bette Davis said, "Old age ain't for sissies." No m'am.
Michael didn't make the school baseball team he tried out for yesterday. He is a terrific player. I am so distressed on his behalf - he had his heart set on being on the team. There is a rec league team nearby that he is trying out for Saturday so I am hoping and praying he will make that team.
That poster Mike did yesterday? He made a 90 on it! Way to go kiddo.
Hopefully I will have better news tomorrow.
