My brain is going in 100 different directions, some of which I can blog about and some not. So this will just have to be a quick catch-up post.
I have two very close and dear friends who are having pretty serious financial issues. I am trying to brainstorm ways to help them. My own resources are very limited right now so it's not easy.
I left work and came home and had to drive up to Lilburn, to the office of Mike's pediatrician, to pick up copies of his medical records. I am trying to ensure when I apply for insurance coverage I have all the relevant information at hand. Some of the questions I encountered when looking to get us insured were things like "Have you had a sinus infection in the last 10 years? What was prescribed? What happened?" My memory isn't that great. I have to have documentation.
The oldest record they could find was 4 months after Mike got here, in September 2007. He weighed 65 lbs and was 51 inches tall. This was made a few weeks before that:
I am reading a good book, when I can find a little time, The Lost Throne, by Chris Kuzneski. It's a thriller set in Greece, which fascinates me. I am enjoying it.
More will be revealed...
