Yesterday was so crammed full I had no time for anything until I dropped into bed.
After work I had to run an errand. Well, I thought it was an errand. Turned out it was much more, because my doctor hadn't called in my Synthroid prescription, so it wasn't waiting for me when I got there. Had to frantically call the doctor and pray they were still there and they'd fax the prescription. They did so. Then I had to loiter in the store for 30 minutes, waiting. Michael was with me. We spent a lot of time looking at the large display of Halloween items, some of which were already marked down.
Michael wanted me to buy a 6 foot tall figure of the Grim Reaper to greet children at the door. For $2, I might've gone for it, but it was on SALE for more than $50. That is grim indeed.
We went over to the produce department, and there was an incredibly large black man talking VERY loudly on his cell phone. He had followed us from frozen foods, but not intentionally. He wasn't paying attention to anything but his phone. We could hear his entire conversation AND the other person. He must've had it set on "loudspeaker." Thanks. Thanks for all the profanity too, buddy.
Michael's social studies project was next on the agenda. He was supposed to be doing it in class but there was not enough time. He had to write an entire newspaper from 1775 Georgia. That's a tall order to do in 4 days, in class.
We had pork roast for dinner that had been slow cooked in the oven all day. YUM. So glad I didn't have to cook much when I got home. I sauteed some cabbage with soy sauce and spices, and baked some Sister Schubert rolls. Easy dinner.

This is the coolest thing - a panoramic view from the top of Mt. Everest. Feels like you're looking down from heaven. Amazing!
