Happy New Year's! We've had a lovely day, very laid back. Mother got to eat takeout from Eduardo's, her fave Mexican place, for lunch. Tonight we celebrated with Lesleigh, Bruce, and Colton. Bruce fixed bacon wrapped scallops for dinner.
I made rum cake for Mother's birthday. Man, is it delicious...
Around 10:45, Steve and Melanie and their company came over and we pooled our fireworks and set them off in the back yard.
Before starting, everyone got a safety lecture from Bruce.
