I hate abrupt changes in weather. Yesterday, it was in the 50's most of the day, which is way colder than last week - highs in the low 80's. We're not in the path of the hurrican so I know I have no right to complain, but I'm going to anyway.
I sit right next to a window while I'm on the computer here in my room, and the cold air blows in horribly. I guess I need to replace the plantation shutters with heavy drapes?
We bought Michael a new sweater at Walmart on Saturday and he wore it most of the day yesterday. And he wears shorts most of the time.
I'm not worried about the cold as much as I am about the wind. Right now it's 40.
He forgot to bring home his Spanish book on Friday so I am making him catch the bus this morning at 7:15 so he can get to school early and hopefully get that homework done. I was not happy about him forgetting that book.
Yesterday was a marathon of bill paying and chores and grocery shopping. Finally, around 5:30, my friend Kristy came over with a client and I notarized some documents. Her client was a friend of mine, and we had such a nice time chatting. I need to spend more time with just my friends. Mother was fine. Mike and Colton were in the backyard throwing a ball. It was a lovely end to the day.
Mother has to go back to the Wound Clinic this afternoon for a re-check, and Michael has his first heavy-duty 3 hour wrestling practice today. It's a busy one..

I have been outraged over the stories about the coverup of the situation in Benghazi, Libya. Four Americans died. The President just says that an investigation is being done - man up and tell the truth! The three Navy Seals who tried to rescue the ambassador called for backup THREE TIMES and were denied help by the White House. The Red Cross had evacuated, and yet our embassy remained open and without adequate security.
The mainstream media is ignoring this story. Only conservative news outlets like this one are reporting it. Obama had drones overhead and KNEW what the danger was - and yet failed to send in help and save the lives of the ambassador and those brave Seals. I am appalled. I am so glad the father of Ty Woods is speaking out, and calling for justice for his son.
Obama is trying to dodge this bullet until after the election. I am horrified.
