Happy Easter y'all! Hope it's a fun and/or relaxing day.
We finally got some spring here yesterday, with highs in the 70's.I spent most of the afternoon watching Michael's tennis team, even though he wasn't playing. I am the co-captain. It was a lot of fun, and the boys won! Right now they are first in their division.
I was inspired to go ahead and get my seedlings in the ground. I planted 2 tomato plants, 4 zucchini, and a lot of seed pots. Seeds are germinating for cucumbers, cantaloupe, more tomatoes, and squash. I am also sticking some radishes in there because I heard bugs that attack squash don't like them.
I had a lot of cauliflower planted last year and I never got any edible veggies off of it. This year we have a volunteer coming up in the garden, a hardy survivor!
I've also got some basil and thyme.
We got a good soaking rain last night, so it's all good.
I've still got a lot of cleaning out of pots to do, and flowers to plant, but it's a start.
