Michael and I got a lot of work done around the yard yesterday. My back issues make it difficult for me to do much bending over so putting in the flowers in two of our front flowerbeds is a challenge now.
I had revoked Michael's privilege of playing videogames last week because he didn't turn it off when I asked him to [3 times] so I told him if he would help me with yard work yesterday he'd get the privilege back.
Michael likes videogames but he's never been a kid who obsessed over them.
He figured out that helping me in the yard means he can work without a shirt and that helps his tan. He was out long enough yesterday to get some sun on his chest and back. The weather was perfect, low 70's and sunny.
Today we are headed up to Lookout Mountain for a day trip which hopefully will be fun and informative.
This morning he was telling me about science videos he likes to watch on YouTube. Here is an example - What If The Sun Disappeared?. Michael is so smart he finds this stuff fascinating. It gives me a headache...
