Yesterday was a busy day - in a good way - and I am still processing it all.
Corners were turned. Usually in life you don't actually know when corners are turned, but I knew. It was clear.
Here's the first corner: I had my followup appointment with my surgeon. Everything is on track. Incisions are healing well. No more female issues.
Best news of all - she said I can go back swimming! Yay! As long as the incisions stay intact and I don't start bleeding, all is well. I will be swimming this afternoon.
Second Corner - I also went to an Open Mic poetry reading. I had not been to a poetry reading in many years. It was great fun. I read some of my poetry. I interviewed a friend of mine for this blog, and hopefully I will get that posted in the next few days.
It was a total blast to hang out with new people. I was home by 9:30.
Thursday night, Michael and I watched a very funny movie, that the critics hated, but we thought it was great. Critics are sometimes dead wrong.
