This right here, this is why I adore this boy. He has such a wondrous, generous heart. The little guy here is William, our across the street neighbor. Mike is holding his coat. William adores Michael. They are great buddies.
So we went to Target last night, to get Mike some new tennis shoes and a helmet. Couldn't find either item. Well, we found a helmet, but Michael can't stand the feeling of a chin strap. It's really bugs him. It's a sensory thing.
He knows I have laid down the law about helmets and skateboards and bikes. One concussion is all it took.So now he is struggling with hating the chin strap and not longboarding. He went to bed and slept 12 hours last night and skipped dinner.
So I don't know the solution.

I told Mother last night the only thing I really want for Christmas is to have my BFF/cousin Lesleigh home. I don't care about presents. So we got Les a plane ticket to come home for the week. [She's in Austin going to school.] So now, my Christmas is complete. I don't care about unwrapping. We will sing carols and "make pecan pie and sit by the fire" [Michael's idea of Christmas] and that will be lovely.
