I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Superbowl last night, I must admit. I am not a big football fan and I haven't the faintest idea how the game is played, but it was fun to watch the Seahawks win.
Michael complained that it wasn't a good game, a close game. Bah humbug.
Lots of complaints about the commercials, too. Everyone on Facebook was complaining. There again, I had no expectations so I wasn't disappointed.
Another big deal for me yesterday was that we went to Petsmart and got Lola a new walking harness called a Gentle Leader. So the leash is attached at her snout, and if she tries to pull ahead too hard, her head is jerked around, which she really doesn't like. So I walked her this morning as usual and she DIDN'T PULL! YAY!
You have no idea how important that is. She has pulled me really hard, to the point I was worried about falling over.
I really enjoy walking her. I enjoy getting outside. I don't listen to music. I just walk. Sometimes I see neighbors and stop and chat. It helps me to know I am getting a little exercise and she is a happy camper.
When we went to Petsmart yesterday I signed Lola up for obedience training. She needs to learn to obey simple commands, and she loves treats, so we are hopeful it will work.
