For the past week or so we've had temperatures in the 80's and this morning it's delightfully cool. Fall is finally here, thanks be to God.
The summer wasn't especially hot, but when you're menopausal it's always hot, honey. Trying to think of hot flashes as "power surges" didn't much help, either. Thank goodness the problem is under control.
Michael is enjoying his new/old car. It looks nice, it runs well, and I don't have to worry every time he leaves the house. What a blessing.
Seems like a lot of folks got married this weekend.
My cousin Bill's daughter Emily got married out in Tacoma, and I wish I could've been there but traveling just isn't affordable right now.
My friend Judy went to a Wedding in the Woods that looks really interesting. I'm glad I didn't go, however, as being outside in the woods would've meant 5,000 mosquito bites for me. Yeah, that's the main reason I'm not too outdoorsy.
I don't know whether to be happy or sad about Scotland and England staying together. I just don't want anything to interrupt or delay the production of shortbread..
One of my cousins saw Garth Brooks in concert last night. I was never a fan of his, but I hear he puts on a good show. What puzzles me is why someone so mega rich they can retire in their 30's wants to go back to work. He must be bored now that his kids are pretty much grown.
Lola overturned the garbage yesterday and forced me to clean the floors. Wicked clever that dog...
I am meeting a friend for lunch today and later I will be making a trip to Kroger. That's the exciting life I lead...
