There's not much to report but here is a quick update.
I am still waiting to hear back from air conditioning guy. Hopefully tomorrow. I am nervous about paying for it, and I hate to finance anything, but I can't get through the summer with no air conditioning up here.
The weather is hot but not as bad as it could be. Today's high was about 85. My room didn't really get uncomfortable until about 4ish. I sat with a box fan in front of me and the window open.

I understand the movement to put a woman on the $20 bill and I totally agree with it. I was interested to see that in an unofficial contest folks voted to put Harriet Tubman on the twenty. I voted for Eleanor Roosevelt because she has always been a personal hero of mine.

My gardens are going great guns. Lots of blooms on all the tomatoes and peppers, and some of the cucumbers. I have one little yellow squash in a pot, hoping it will escape the fate of the squash plants I always plant. I love love love yellow squash. I have some zucchinis for backup, though.
