I am thinking Veteran's Day is usually on a Monday, right? Or it it done by the calendar date? Not sure. Lots of Facebook posts with photos of dads, grandfathers, siblings, sons, etc. in the military. They deserve the utmost honor and respect.
However, we also need to remember that women have served in the military, too. Women have served honorably, and sometimes even been killed. It's not just a man's holiday.Dad had a cousin who was in WWII and she taught pilots how to fly bombers.

The past few days have been... not fun. Dealing with a lot of drama. Cannnot blog about any of it.
The good news is that after almost almost a week of incessant rain, yesterday the sun FINALLY came out. Today it's beautiful - sunny and 70 degrees.
I am trying to concentrate on the positive.
Writing a lot lately. Some of my poems were accepted for publication in a new magazine, and I've got a story coming out in another magazine soon. I am also working on a novel.
Life is not perfect, but we are fine.
