A great way to market your business is to tell your personal story to a magazine or newspaper aimed at folks in your community. Small community papers are read more often than you might think.
My friend Kristyne Seidenberg is an attorney who loves to make housecalls - to do business with folks in their own home. So they don't have to drive into town and find parking, hire a sitter, etc. Kristy became a lawyer after successful careers as a teacher and a counselor. She loves to help people, and is a passionate advocate for victims of abuse and/or domestic violence, children, and parents. She also loves to prepare wills and powers of attorney for seniors, and help them with estate planning.
I was delighted the other day to find Up Close and Personal in Tucker, with Kristy and her family on the front. I helped Kristy with her article a little bit, but her unique personality shines through, and it's distributed to thousands of homes in the area. Congrats Kristy!
