I was looking for a job last year and I saw an ad for a part-time paralegal for a small firm in Decatur. I went and interviewed with James Radford, a young attorney.
I looked at his website before the interview, and I was impressed by how professional it looks, and how simple and clean the pages are.
I liked James immediately. It was a very easy interview.James hired a different paralegal but that's fine.
James hired me to write for him.
James himself is a good writer, make no mistake. But he's trying to work his cases, appear in court, and when he gets home he has twin baby boys. So he's a busy man.
So, for James I write two blogs a week. I usually just do a synopsis of a news article that deals with the type of law he practices [plaintiff's employment law and civil rights law]. I link back to the original article. I pull out keywords. I try to throw in an image now and then.
James was with a big firm for a few years and just recently went out on his own. In less than two years he has moved to bigger offices, hired another attorney and a paralegal. He's doing great.
"Dee has been a great resource for me. Her articles about current topics in employment law really help to keep my site interesting and informative to potential clients."
